ORTHODONTICS
It is a branch in dentistry that deals with diagnosis, prevention, and correction of dental and face irregularities that rise as a result of:
- Anomalies in the teeth
- Irregular development and placement of the jaws
- Problems with the jaw joints
The corrective intervention in the orthodontics is executed with two types of devices:
- Mobile – that are placed and taken out of the mouth
- Fixed – that cannot be taken out of the mouth without the intervention of the orthodontist.
